File Listing
This List Box is where the Files you wish to rename will be shown, you can choose to see its size or each
files date.
By Order
If this is enabled, you can use this to rename the files in increase or descreasing order from any starting
position.
A. Choosing Increase or Decrease will let you decide on which way you wish to count
B. Count By: If you use this option it will skip in incrementation... An example of this would be
If you had “2” then it would count by “1, 3, 5, 7...”
C. Start Position: Changing this option will Allow you to Choose the starting position to count from.
D. Pad With: Allows you to pad each numer with charactors of your choice.
The purpose of this is to keep files in consecutive order...
If you did not pad them with say Zeros, then the order could be shown as 1, 10, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.... and
so forth, this is how a computer counts unfortunately.
If you did pad with say 4 Zeros, then it would come up with 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, allowing
it to be in order... since 0 comes before 1.
E. Just below it will allow you the location you wish to pad with, left, right, or add(always keeps the full length,
and doesnt decrease as the length of the number increase.), Just play with this and you’ll understand.
